BERKOP at UC Berkeley Introduction - 언론동아리 버클리오피니언

버클리오피니언 (약칭 버콥)은 2010년 UC Berkeley에 재학 중인 7명의 학생들로부터 시작된 준 언론사를 표방하는 언론단체입니다.  각자의 전문 분야, 전공 분야에서 멤버들의 특징을 잘 살려 그 생각들을 글이라는 매체를 통해 독자들과 필자들의 커뮤니케이션을 가능하게 하고, 나아가서는 학교 내 뿐만이 아닌, 미국과 한국, 그리고 전세계와 연결하고자 합니다.  버콥에서 출판되는 글들은 그 장르나 주제에 대해 제한을 두지 않으며 다방면의 가능성을 열어두고 있으며, 현재 25명이 넘는 멤버들이 제공하는 양질의 컨텐츠들을 제공하고 학교 내의 행사들을 중계하는 역할도 하고 있습니다.  소중한 독자들의 기대와 바램에 어긋나지 않는 버콥이 되는 그 날까지 최선의 노력을 다하겠습니다.

BERKOP, or Berkeley Opinion, is an active online media press published by students of U.C. Berkeley, U.S.A, expressing their viewpoints on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to politics, economics, history, society, philosophy, campus eateries, and even casual topics such as dating.  A group of over twenty-five undergraduate writers, Berkeley Opinion publishes about five articles a week, while helping to publicize other Korean groups and events on campus. Our goal is to become the center of not just Koreans but all journalistic activities held at Cal, continuously expanding the breadth of our article base.
